[2023/04/07 15:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: you got six attributes: STRength, INTelligence, WISdom, DEXterity, CONstitution, CHArisma
[2023/04/07 15:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: 3 is the lowest (weak, stupid), 18 is the highest (strong, clever) with 10 or 11 being average as a rule.
[2023/04/07 15:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: If there's a check for success, a d20 is rolled - that stuck door, are you able to force it open? as an example
[2023/04/07 15:52] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hit Points: how much "life" you have. Don't let that reach 0 ;D

[2023/04/07 16:05] Alicia Frakture: We don't have to go on the boat yet, just hear stories on the docks and there is bound to be local inn that could have people talking

[2023/04/07 16:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: so, off to the docks? Or you going to find an inn first?
[2023/04/07 16:09] Alicia Frakture: To the docks would be my suggestion, there is bound to be an inn around there
[2023/04/07 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: Plenty of inns by the docks; sailors are notoriously thirsty
[2023/04/07 16:10] Ingelin: i have no time to wander around, not till i will be recorded as real member of the crew
[2023/04/07 16:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: you head down to the docks, and get your first view of the ship... it's nothing special. Clearly a two masted merchantman, designed to stay close to the coast and carry cargo, obviously new, all looking quite polished and fresh
[2023/04/07 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben comes along with the group, though keeping an eye out for anything else dangerous coming their way
[2023/04/07 16:13] Ingelin: it looks like a regular vessel, i was hoping it was hunted to have an excuse to not board...now i have you with me, non sense to look for adventure by myself
[2023/04/07 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Nothing particularly unusual happens as you go to the docks.
[2023/04/07 16:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: how many people and ships are here?
[2023/04/07 16:16] Ingelin: she approaches the two sailors on watch and stammering a bit asks them if that was the ship on which she was to embark
[2023/04/07 16:16] Alicia Frakture: Leesha watches this."Wait do you know when you sail out?"
[2023/04/07 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's actually a lot quieter than usual. Only one ship can come in or out now, and the dock hands of course have half the work, and lots of disgruntled out of work sailors are drinking to pass the time.
[2023/04/07 16:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sailors grumble and glare out at the ship. "Aye, the Farsea, there she be, going nowhere."
[2023/04/07 16:18] Ingelin: Calien asks: why so? i have this embark letter...i should work on it
[2023/04/07 16:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Why, ye landlubber wench! She be haunted, don't she?"
[2023/04/07 16:20] Alicia Frakture: Leesha raises an eyebrow."Haunted by what, and if you say a ghost with no other details you're going for a swim."
[2023/04/07 16:20] Ingelin: Calien asks again in feigned amazement: Hunted? like Hunted! looks normal from here!
[2023/04/07 16:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two sailors take exception to this. Before you know it, they both have knives in their hands and are glaring at you, stooping slightly into a fighting posture. "Why! Ye landlubber, ye need to learn to mind yer mouth!"
[2023/04/07 16:23] Alicia Frakture: Leesha steps forward."Tell ya what, put the knife away or the lesson will be yours to learn
[2023/04/07 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: the sailors growl. "Arr, we'll gut ye like a fish!"
[2023/04/07 16:24] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben sighs. "Do we really need this to come to blows? We could have chatted over a basket of fried fish."
[2023/04/07 16:24] Ingelin: listen you two stupid landlubbers, i just asked, and if that's your answer, then that means you're cowardly hermit crabs
[2023/04/07 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: oh boy... if you want a TPK you could just ask... roll for initiative!
[2023/04/07 16:25] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks ready for a fight."Not my fault they pulled knives."

[2023/04/07 16:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sailor swipe at Leesha, one misses, the other stabs her in her side, drawing blood!
[2023/04/07 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: A few sailors hanging out by a bar see the fight breaking out and start hollering. Sailors, some quite drunk, pour out of the inn, shouting and yelling

[2023/04/07 16:33] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben, is going to open up one of her cans of cooking oil and set up a trip hazard where the approaching sailors are coming from to slow them down. "Back off, there's no need for a fight!" She yells this -mostly- at Leesh and Cailen

[2023/04/07 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sailors crowd up close, but draw back as they watch Debben pouring out oil. They watch suspiciously, with a few muttered queries amongst themselves ("Is it magic?" "It'd madness, if ye ask me") The two sailors move apart, to come at Leesha from two sides. (The sailors aren't fighting themselves, they're fighting you!)

[2023/04/07 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two sailors stab at Leesha; both miss.
[2023/04/07 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Ye can have the points of our daggers, ye landlubbers!"
[2023/04/07 16:38] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is gonna go for another punch, she does not want to draw the wrench yet. Went with the backhand this time going for the forehand
